This passion and dedication to each layer of the building process sets MHIC apart from all other construction companies. It begins with the initial design, cost analysis, planning and attention to detail through build-out, client communication, and, finally, standing behind the finished product. Mark’s artful craftsmanship and thorough understanding of each stage of a project have enabled him to cultivate trusted relationships with valued sub-contractors, who as a unit work seamlessly together to deliver the utmost quality. This team, Mark’s painstaking evaluation of the client wishes, and the integrity of his character is truly the hallmark behind MHIC Construction’s consistent success.
Mark enjoys living in the Santa Ynez Valley with his wife Sherry. His children Brandon and Ellen also live and work in the Valley, and his daughter Claire lives with her husband Micah in San Diego. In his free time he enjoys cycling, traveling and participating in the Mexico Missions Trips each year to Ensenada with his church the Valley Christian Fellowship.

For the past 17 years, Mark’s family has participated with Valley Christian Fellowship in leading an annual Missions Trip to build loft houses in Ensenada, Mexico. The photo to the left and those below are from this past edition from September, 2019.
